The board

How the board works

Walk-ins and booked clients share one floor. This is how we keep it fair.

  • 01

    Sign the board

Write your name on the board by the door, in the order you arrive.

  • 02

    Watch the board

It shows who is next and which chair is open. Waits vary, and the board is the only clock we go by.

  • 03

Booked clients go at their time

If you booked, you are seen at your time and the line waits. Arrive a few minutes early.

  • 04

    The line closes early

We stop adding names 30 minutes before close, so everyone on the board gets a cut.

While you wait

Wait with the room

There is a table to sit at and a board by the door. Stay close; when your name is next, we call it.

If you want a particular barber, tell the board when you sign in. Their wait is their chair's wait, and it can be shorter or longer than the rest of the floor.

Good to know

  • One person waits with each client

  • Parking on Cedar Avenue and in the lot behind the shop

  • Kids' cuts are taken in the same line
